Architect

Koichi and Shinya work on a wide range of projects based on architectural thinking, participating in interior design, exhibition venue construction, product design, space installations, and movie production. Several of their main works, such as “Template in Kurasuka,” NIKE 1 LOVE,” “Minato Housing,” and “Air Vessel” have won awards.

Their collaboration with Hida Sangyo began in 2012, with a spatial composition for the “Designer’s Space Hida” display room at the Hida Furniture Museum Takayama. They also became seriously involved in furniture design, and 2013 saw the announcement of the “Cobrina” (smallish) series of furniture that is compact, light and makes good use of space. Desk items were added the following year. The series won a Good Design Award in 2015.
