We aimed for "a warm, nostalgic feeling as if you were visiting your grandmother's house, or something good with a sense of being handcrafted and loved for a long time, like William Morris, rather than following the latest trends. ＜Nabedaira＞ uses the "Gobelins weaving" technique, in which six colors for the Warp and three colors for the Weft are used to weave the fabric in a precise manner. The designer and Hida Sangyo have created this textile with the idea of "preserving the good things of Japan" in the midst of a declining domestic upholstery industry.
